Raymond Alexander Summey

Durham- Raymond Alexander Summey, 94,  of Durham died at the Pittsboro Christian Village on Saturday, September 21, 2013. Mr. Summey  was  a  Army Veteran of WWII and was awarded The Bronze Star and The Purple Heart.  He was a member of Northgate Chapel and was a speaker at several Chapel Assemblies. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Gladys Overton Summey.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel.  Speaker will be Scott Pierce. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. one hour prior to the service at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable. Online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
