Rebecca Louise Bowen

DURHAM Mrs. Rebecca Louise Bowen, 49, of 5712 Couch Mountain Road, died on Monday, July 14, 2014.
Mrs. Bowen was a native and lifelong resident of Durham. She was a receptionist for McFarland Septic Service and a former employee of Monumental Life Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her father, James Nathaniel Green and a sister, Roxanne Carpenter.
She is survived by her mother, Lois Rogers of Roanoke Rapids; her daughter, Heather Bowen of Durham; brother, Michael Selle of Roanoke Rapids; sister, Kaye Moody of Roanoke Rapids and extended family The DeLamora’s of Roanoke Rapids.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m., before the service at the funeral home.
