Regina Gertrude Hicks

CREEDMOOR- Mrs. Regina Gertrude Hicks, 52, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 in Durham, NC.

Mrs. Hicks was born March 21, 1966 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Harry William and Lula Mae Mitchell of Orange, New Jersey. She loved to cook for her family and have family gatherings. She enjoyed fashion, reading, traveling and creating fabulous hairstyles. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and grandmother.

Mrs. Hicks is survived by her husband, Thomas Roy Hicks; sons, Allen W. Mitchell of Creedmoor, NC; Thomas R. Hicks, Jr. of Creedmoor, NC; DaShawn Timark Hicks (LaQuasha) of Baltimore, MD; Isaiah Dwayne Hicks of Creedmoor, NC; Joshua Q. Hicks of Creedmoor, NC; daughter, Latisha Nicole Hicks of Creedmoor, NC; brothers: Michael L Mitchell (Stacey) of East Orange NJ; Harry CJ Mitchell of East Orange, NJ; sisters, Janis E Boone (Larry) of Woodbridge NJ; Billie E Hawkins (Erskine) of Grand Prairie, TX; April Powell of Newark, NJ; Tammy Cochran of Stafford, VA; grandchildren, Jamarez Hicks, Aiyonna Alston, Kenadi James, Kendall Hicks, Mariah Hicks, Adahlia Hunt, and one expected soon.

Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. January 26, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel in Durham, NC. Officiating will be Pastor Dr. Janice Boone.
