Rev. Steven Andrew Mitchell

CREEDMOOR- Rev. Steven Andrew Mitchell, 60, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Rev. Mitchell was born February 17, 1957 in Durham, NC to the late William and Jessie Mitchell. He worked many years with Nortel and the City of Durham. Rev. Mitchell was a member of the Deliverance Temple of Butner as well as a minister for 19 years. Rev. Mitchell was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Rev. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Peggy Allen Mitchell; son, Steven A. Mitchell, Jr.; step-sons, Lucione Thomas Warren, Christopher Michael Warren; brother, Phillip Alan Mitchell (Peggy); sisters, Sandra Allen, Nana Ray (George), Recia Martin (David); grandchildren, Taylor Mae Warren, Megan Gale Warren, Brennon Warren.
Pallbearers will be Jim Hicks, Tommy Eakes, Mike Higgins, Timmy Parrish, Lance Mitchell and Billy Allen.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Alan Mitchell. Burial will follow at South Granville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held an hour prior from 12-1 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and at the family’s home as well.
