Rex Veasey

CREEDMOOR Mr. Rex Moore Veasey, Jr., 86, of Creedmoor, died on Monday, January 25, 2016.
Mr. Veasey was born in Durham, the son of the late Rex Moore Veasey, Sr. and Louis Marie Jones Veasey. He attended Durham City Schools and lived there until 1974. He worked for many years with Nationwide Insurance as an Agent. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Broken Anchor Boat Club at Kerr Lake. He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Koval.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Tilley Veasey; two sons, Larry Veasey of Chapel Hill and Robert Charles Veasey of Washington, DC; one sister, Dorothy Hill of Ohio.
