Rhonda Powers Allen

Ms. Rhonda Powers Allen, age 72, passed away on January 5, 2022.

Rhonda was born on November 21, 1949, a daughter of the late Ronald Elliott Powers and Dorothy May Winfree Powers. Ms. Allen was a faithful member of West Durham Pentecostal Church. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed murder mysteries. Rhonda was an avid pet lover. She rescued and adopted animals in need. Rhonda loved her family, she especially loved being with her grandchildren. She will be missed deeply.

Ms. Allen was preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle.

Ms. Allen is survived by her sons, Scott Bunn and Jerry Taylor; daughter, Amanda Taylor; sister, Gloria West; six grandsons and two granddaughters, as well as one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15th, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Greg Long.
