Rhonda Cheek Carroll

DURHAM Mrs. Rhonda Hope Cheek Carroll, 59, of 8228 Wake Forest Hwy, died on Tuesday, July 2, 2013.

Mrs. Carroll was a native of Granville County and lifelong resident of Durham. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hyacinth Williams Wiley and two brothers, Jimmy and Ray Cheek.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence “Smokey” Carroll; her father, Robert Wiley, Sr.; son, Shane Cheek (Christie); two brothers, Tony Cheek, Robert Wiley Jr.; sister, Sandra Scott and grandchild and Nana’s #1 baseball player, Holden Cheek.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Creedmoor Town Cemetery. Rev. Tim McCreight will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Friday at the cemetery following the service and other times at the home of Shane and Christie Cheek, 603 24^th Street in Butner. Flowers are acceptable. Online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
