Richard Anthony Martin

TIMBERLAKE  Mr. Richard Anthony Martin, 67, of 613 County Line Rd, died on Friday, July 19, 2013.

Mr. Martin was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Henry and Clarene Mangum Martin. He was a self-employed carpenter. He loved camping and building houses.

He is survived by his sons, Robert Martin and Michael Hawley; three daughters, Robin Page, Valerie Martin and Susan Gerardi; two brothers, Tommy Martin and Bob Martin; five sisters, Carol Ray, Marian Laske, Pat Watson, Diane Newman and Linda Huffines; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pastor Donnie Cash will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Mann, Davey Jones, Justin Strickland, Clay Page, Troy Garardi, Joey Boyette and Jason Martin.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Susan Gerardi, 1916 Patterson Rd in Durham.  Flowers are acceptable.
