DURHAM- Mr. Richard Roy Fuller, 68, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020.
Mr. Fuller was born on October 28, 1951 to the late Mack Roy Fuller and Laura Walker Fuller in Durham, NC. After proudly serving his country in the Army National Guard, Rick worked for Nortel for 19 years in Tech Support and as an instructor. He then completed his working career as a deputy for Durham County Sheriff’s Office. Rick was on the Durham County Sheriff’s Office pistol shooting team. He was a member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church and Bull City Street Rods. He loved flying and was an Instrument Rated pilot. Rick enjoyed benchrest shooting and restoring classic muscle cars. He will be lovingly remembered by all blessed to have known him.
Mr. Fuller is survived by his wife, Toni S. Fuller; brothers, Alton Fuller (Chris) of Tucson, AZ and Robert “Eddie” Fuller (Kim) of Newport, NC; nephews, Nicholas and Zachary Fuller; niece, Krista Murray; and great nieces, Kayla and Jodi Murray.
A private burial will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hudson Funeral Home will offer the public an opportunity to stop by and view or sign a register book during normal business hours.
