Ricky Lee Willard

TIMBERLAKE- Mr. Ricky Willard, 53, and Mrs. Regina (Murray) Willard, 55, went to their heavenly home on Thursday, July 1, 2021.

Ricky was born April 28, 1968 to John Willard, Sr. of Durham, NC and the late Nancy (Ellis) Willard. Mr. Willard was an active member of Living Waters Christian Community. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, tractor pulls, and DJing. Ricky was known as a car guy and enjoyed going to car shows, as well as putting model cars together. He loved being a Peepaw to his loving grandchildren.

Regina was born July 8, 1965 to Mae (Price) Murray of Durham, NC and the late Nelson Murray. Regina was an active member of Living Waters Christian Community. Mrs. Willard was an avid Duke Blue Devils fan. She enjoyed cooking, baking and traveling, especially to the beach and mountains. Above all, she loved and cherished her family. Her priority was being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Ricky and Regina are survived by her mother, Mae (Price) Murray; his father, John C. Willard, Sr.; his grandmother, Marie Ellis; their son, Nicholas McLamb (Lindsey); their daughters, Samantha Terrell (Jeffrey), Megan Cua; his brother, John C. Willard (Christie); her brother, Jeff Murray (Angie); his sister, Anna Willard O’Quinn (Mike); their grandchildren, Aiden Black and Caroline Sampson; as well as their many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Living Waters Christian Community. The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Living Waters Christian Community. Officiating will be Pastor Ron Watts. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
