Ricky Olson

In loving memory of:Ricky (Rick) Olson, 62, of Bahama passed away on Friday November 16, 2012. He was preceeded in death by his father and mother C.W. Olson and Carrie Pauline Bogle Olson, and brother Kenneth Carl Olson.Born in Tyler, Texas, he was a loving family man. Besides his family, his passions were reading, fishing and woodworking. He was affectionately known as Gramps. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 37 years, Kathy Cook Olson; two sons, Travis Lee Olson, and wife April of Timberlake; Brandon Lane Olson of Bahama, and sister Sharon Olson Curtis and husband Bill of Lawrenceville GA, two grandchildren Tyler Lane Olson and Lillianna Leigh Olson.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorial Processing Center, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216 or the American Diabetes Association, 2418 Blue Ridge Road, Suite 206, Raleigh, NC 27607.
