Robert Francis "Bob" DeSimone

Robert Francis “Bob” DeSimone, 80, of Durham, NC passed away February 3, 2023, at Duke University Hospital.

Mr. DeSimone was born January 26, 1943, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Alfred Francis and Shirley Clum DeSimone which precede him in death. Also, preceded   a brother William “Billy” and wife Rosemary DeSimone of Cold Spring, NY

Bob is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Donna Winters DeSimone; sons, Bryan DeSimone (Pamela) of Saugerties, NY, Robert DeSimone (Michelle) of Amsterdam, NY; grandchildren, Bryan “Bryguy” DeSimone, Jr. and Robert DeSimone, Jr.; sister, Diana Layton of NY; loving extended family and friends.

Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was employed as a Commercial Painter for many years. He was a caring and loving man who will be missed very much.
