Robert Melvin Durham Jr.

Robert Melvin Durham Jr., affectionately known as Bobby, passed away peacefully at Duke Hospital on November 7, 2024, at the age of 58. He was born on September 4, 1966, and spent his entire life in Durham, North Carolina. 

Bobby is survived by his cherished grandson, Chase; his father, Robert Melvin Durham Sr.; his stepmother, Clara Durham; his sister, Vickey Durham Keathley; his nephews, Edward and William Keathley; and his half-brother, Sanford Durham. His family will remember him for the love he showed to those around him. 

Throughout his life, Bobby faced challenges related to mental health. In his memory, the family encourages donations to local mental health organizations to support those in need.

Arrangements for Bobby will be handled by Hudson's Funeral Home, and a private ceremony will be held later. The family finds comfort in knowing that Bobby is now at rest and free from suffering. 

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew him..
