Kreissman, Robert H.
September 1st, age 96, in Chapel Hill, NC. Born in the Bronx, January 29, 1920, he had a wonderful and adventurous life. Bob is survived by his wife, Dorothy, to whom he was married for 67 years. He was a loving, caring and inspiring father to Gary, Susan and Jim, a warm and welcoming father-in-law to Debra Flanz and Phil Breitfeld and a doting and enthusiastic grandfather to Alex, Dave, Abby & Ellie.
Trained as a CPA at CCNY, Bob moved from his own successful accounting practice to a 30+ year tenure as Chief Financial Officer of Combe Inc., in White Plains, NY. He was always energetic and positive, about business, family and life in general. He was an exemplary executive, leader and mentor in business, serving numerous civic, professional and charitable organizations. Bob was also an avid NY Giants fan and a dedicated golfer, who could often be found on the fairways (and occasionally in the rough) of the Whippoorwill Club.
A celebration to honor his life and legacy will be held at the Whippoorwill Club in Armonk, NY on Saturday October 1st, from noon to 3pm.
