Robert Larry Dennis

Durham- Robert Larry Dennis, 66, of Durham died on Sunday, February 22,  2015. He was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Robert Edward Dennis and Wanda McGhee Green;step-father, Lee Earl Green and brother Lee Green. He was a Regional Sales Manager for Flowers Baking Co. where he retired. He loved his children and his grandkid’s were the love of his life.

He is survived by his wife of forty six years, Pamela “Pam”  Dennis,  one son, Todd Dennis (Julie) of Charlotte; one daughter, Lisa Marochak (Mark) of Mebane; two brothers Ronnie Green (Debie) and Jack Green (Jennifer), four sisters, Patsy Porter (Bobby), Pam Dixon (Ronnie), Carol Ellis (Leon), Joan Culberson (Eddie), five grandchildren, Natalie Marochak, Colby Dennis, Brad Marochak, Carson Dennis and Cooper Dennis, sixteen nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Adam Brinkley will officiate. Burial will be in Markham Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be John Seagroves, Stephen Murray, Geoff Brooks, Patrick Moody, Bryan Moody and Ricky Green.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Cox, Dan Cutts, Wayne Stell and Ronnie Upchurch.  The family would like to thank the staff of Duke Cancer Center and Duke Hospital Staff.
