Robert Lee Davis

DURHAM, Mr. Robert Lee Davis, 63, of Durham, died on Sunday, September 8, 2013.  He was the son of the late James Davis Sr. and Elizabeth Labiske Davis.  He retired after 20 years of service from the U.S. Army as a Sgt. First Class.  He also retired from CFI Inc. College Foundation after 12 years of service as a System Analyst. Mr. Davis continued his education and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from Strayer University in Washington DC.

He is survived by his wife Mary “Martha” Davis, two sons, Donald Davis and James Davis of Dallas Texas; one daughter, Michaela Davis Olds of Durham, two brothers, James Davis and Richard Davis of Oregon; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bethesda Baptist Church in Durham, officiated by Rev. Hugh O’Shields.
