Robert Charles West

Robert Charles West, 68, of Durham passed away March 19, 2025, at Duke Regional Hospital. Mr. West was born February 18, 1957, in Canton, Ohio.

Mr. West is survived by his wife of 25 years, Donna T. West; sons, Chris Hill, his wife Nikki and daughter, Kadence, of Graham, NC, and Troy Yates, his wife Lisa and son, Trevor; daughter, Bridgette McKee of Pittsboro, NC,; brother, Gary Walker and 3 other brothers; sister, Kim Leas and 5 other sisters; grandchildren, Chelsea Bethurum (Alex); great grandchildren, Brianna Fife, Zoey Fife Bethurum, Delilah Fife Bethurum, and Charlotte Burke; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Faye and Cliff Melvin and their daughter and her husband Ashley and Chris Sellers as well as other family members and friends.

Mr. West retired from Rick Hendrick and was a self employed Auto Body Technician. He thoroughly enjoyed Auto Body Work and restoring old cars in his free time. Robert loved going to Round Track Racing tracks and spending time with friends. He and his wife spent many summers camping at Kerr Lake campground and made many memories being at the lake.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Reverend Craig Phelps and David Latta.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David Latta and Ricky Nifong.

Flowers are acceptable.
