Rocky R. Fox

Rocky R. Fox, 70, of Timberlake, North Carolina peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023. He was born in Person County, North Carolina on March 27, 1953 to the late Foy and Billie Fox. Rocky is also preceded in death by his, brother, Ronnie Fox and niece, Alexia Gullie.

Rocky was a wonderful man with a big heart. He has been described as having a hard exterior and a soft and sweet interior like a chocolate shelled covered ice cream cone. He enjoyed working on cars and especially his 69’ Camaro. Rocky also frequented car shows and flea markets where he just may pick you up a gift. Most of all Rocky loved taking care of animals whether tamed, wild or maybe even a wild one he tamed, he was there for them. He will be remembered as a great brother and uncle who will be missed deeply by his family, friends and the little critters he took care of.

Mr. Fox is survived by his brothers, Tim Fox (Lisa Greene) and Ted Fox; sisters, Teresa Herndon (Kenneth) and Tammy Ferguson; uncle, Lynn Crayton; numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved cats, Peg, J.R. and Precious.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Hudson Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service starting at 1:00 P.M. Officiating will be Rev. Todd Going.
