Rodney Edward Hudson

DURHAM- Mr. Rodney Edward Hudson, 95, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Pettigrew Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Hudson was born April 8, 1922 in Pittsylvania Co., VA to the late William and Alease Hudson. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp as a flight instructor then flew the B-25 aircraft. Mr. Hudson was a pilot for Nello Teer Co. for over 40 years where he retired.
Mr. Hudson is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Hudson; parents; William and Alease Hudson, and six siblings.
Mr. Hudson is survived by his sons, Bill Hudson (Cathy), Walter Hudson, Jimmy Hudson (Deborah), and Rodney Hudson, Jr. (Brenda); 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, and several other loving family members and friends.
Funeral services will be private.
