Rodney Watson

DURHAM Rodney Phillip Watson, 41, of Durham, died on Sunday, October 21, 2012, after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Rodney was born on October 2, 1971 in Durham. He was employed as a mechanic with N-Tune Automotive. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy P. Watson and his uncle Donnie Watson. Rodney loved life and could always make you smile.He is survived by his mother, Teresa Brewer Watson; his wife, Joanna Crank Watson; daughter, Victoria Oswald; stepson, Ryan Milks; one sister, Melissa Stigall and husband, Clay; nieces, Lindsey, Whitney and Ella; several special uncles and numerous cousins.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Tommy Cross and Rev. Doug Brown. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, Teresa Watson. Flowers are acceptable.
