Ruby Mae White

DURHAM- Ruby Mae White, 82, passed away Thursday December 13, 2018.

Mrs. White was born May 22, 1936 to Marion and Lydia Davis in Durham, NC. She lived her whole life in Durham, NC, and was a member of Harvest Glen Baptist Church. Mrs. White loved her family and her church family. She loved the beach, watching birds, and shopping. Mrs. White called her home the “house of love” and cherished her little dog Muffy. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great-grandmother.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents Marion and Lydia Davis; husband, Charles Robert White, Sr.; brothers, Fred Davis, William Davis; sister, Frances Rigsbee.

Mrs. White is survived by her sons, Andy White (Allison) of Durham, Charles White, Jr. of Durham; daughter, Teresa Snider (Charles) of Durham; ten grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and a great great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday December 17, 2018 at Hudson Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday December 18, 2018 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Pastor Richard Hedges and Pastor Charles Wilson will officiate.
