GRANVILLE CO.-Mr. Rufus Ray Overby, 64, of Creedmoor, N.C., died on Monday, March 14, 2011. He retired from L.A. Downey. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Hunter Overby, mother, Alice M. Overby of Durham; 4 daughters, Connie Hand (husband) James of Franklinton; Denise Overby Prince (husband) David of Durham; Wendy Garrett (husband) David of Butner; Kristie Overby Fauer (husband) Scott of Franklinton; 1 brother, Buck Overby of Creedmoor; 4 sisters, Maureen Jones, Barbara Garrett, Marie Crowder and Judy West all of Durham; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held on Thursday at 12:00 noon at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor. Rev. Don Westbrook will officiate. He was the son of the late William B.
