Sandra Kay Franklin Wood

STEM Mrs. Sandra Kay Franklin Wood, 61, of 4163 Range Road, died on Thursday, March 9, 2017.
Mrs. Wood was born in Henderson. She retired from GTE in Management. She was a member of Butterfly’s. Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her father, Furman Frank Franklin.
She is survived by her husband, Talton Wood, Jr.; her mother, Ruby Beddingfield Franklin of Creedmoor; daughter, Karen Wood Carpenter and husband, Mark of Stem; three brothers, Harold Franklin and wife, Jane of Ohio, Furman F. Franklin, Jr. of Creedmoor and William Thomas Franklin of Durham; two sisters, Beverly Sue Baldwin and husband, Butch of Ohio and Rhonda Michelle Riley and husband, Tommy of Stem; grandson, Grayson Craig Carpenter.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens. Pastor Donnie Cash will officiate. Pallbearers will be Carlton Hurst, Wayne Hurst, Tommy Riley, Scott Baldwin, Vernon Hunt and Leroy O’Briant.
