Sarah Shepherd Davis

DURHAM-Sarah Elizabeth Shepherd Davis, 78, of Durham passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015. She was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Ralph Kermit Shepherd and Myra Barbee Atkins Shepherd. Sarah was a caretaker for the elderly at nursing homes. She loved yard work, gardening and red birds. Sarah was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Merrick Moore Elementary School Cafeteria. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Victor Davis, son, Robbie Anthony Davis, sister, Marie Hall.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Davis of Creedmoor; Bradley Davis of Durham; Terry Drake (Greg) of Roxboro; brother, Kermit Shepherd of Alabama; sister, Helen Fara of Durham; eleven grandchildren.
