DURHAM Mrs. Sarah Davis Rigsbee, 95, of Durham, died on Monday, October 24, 2011. Mrs. Rigsbee was a born in Orange County to the late William Paul Davis and Laura Ann Browning Davis. She was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Rigsbee, son-in-law, Bernice Fowler and a great-granddaughter, London Rose Lilly.She is survived by her two sons, Henry Rigsbee (Julia) of Creedmoor and Wade Rigsbee of Durham; six daughters, Mary Fowler of Durham, Betty Teasley (Jack) of Durham, Nancy Tilley (Eddie) of Floyd Co. Va., Marie Bailey (Yandell) of Myrtle Beach, Wanda Lockamy (Joe) of Durham and Glenda Lilly (Van) of Durham; two nieces, Lucille Barbee and Laura Ann Lassiter; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Robert Adcock will officiate. Burial will be in the Rigsbee-Couch Family Cemetery in Orange County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Flowers are acceptable or donations can be made to the Duke HomeCare and Hospice, 4321 Medical Park Drive, Suite 101, Durham, NC 27703. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. R.
