Divine Soul… Now One with Divinity Forever…

Satwant Kaur Ji completed her humanly sojourn on Thursday October 14, 2021 early morning very peacefully. She celebrated her 86 years of life through a special connection with Almighty God.

She started her life in Amritsar, Punjab, India. Later she moved to Patiala. Then finally she settled down in North Carolina, USA.

She had a keen interest in Gurbani Shabads and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.  She also enjoyed knitting during her free time.

She was an excellent wife, mother, sibling and a friend. She was very loving and affectionate to her children, family and friends. She taught them good virtues by being an excellent role model. She sacrificed her comfort while raising her children.

She had a special bond with her husband Late Professor Premjit Singh Ji, who preceded her in death on December 15, 2020. She survived 10 months after his death. October 23, 2021 would have been their 60th Wedding Anniversary date.

She is survived by her son, Manjinder Singh Sidhu; daughters, Sherry Dayal and Parminder Kaur; daughter-in-law, Raminder Kaur; son-in-laws, Devendra Singh, Rajender Dayal; grandsons, Ekdeep Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Sahil Dayal, Simarjot Singh, Pavan Dayal; grand-daughter-in-laws, Satinder Kaur, Jagdeep Kaur; great-grand-daughter, Saanvi; and sibling, Manmohan Singh.

Although we will miss the physical presence of Satwant Kaur Ji, her life is worth celebrating as she was connected with Almighty God until her last breath.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23rd 2021 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
