Shirley Ann Freeman Rogers

Mrs. Shirley Ann Freeman Rogers, 76, passed away on July 29, 2022.

Shirley was born August 11, 1945, at Watts Hospital in Durham, NC, to the late Earnest Griffin and Esther Ruth Emory Freeman. She was a graduate of Durham High School, class of 1963. Shirley retired after 25 years, working as a Fraud Investigator with Verizon. She was an avid reader and loved flowers. She enjoyed visiting with friends, as well as going out to brunch with them. Shirley will be remembered as being the sweetest, kindest woman in the world.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert (Bob) C. Rogers and her son, Todd Rogers (Rhonda).

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tim Wheeler officiating.

Flowers are acceptable.
