REESEDURHAM Mrs. Shirley Chism Reese, 81, of Durham, died on Friday, May 21, 2010.Mrs. Reese retired from the YMCA as a secretary in 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Harris Reese and a daughter, Diane Pittman.She is survived by two sons, Ricky Buchanan and Bobby Buchanan both of Durham; stepson, Larry Reese of High Point; one daughter, Susan Whitaker of Franklinton; step-daughter, Sandra McCullough of Hillsborough; one sister, Florence Mosser of Maryland; 6 grandchildren and 7great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.
