Shirley “Bonnie” Malone

Shirley “Bonnie” Malone, born July 10, 1931, died at the age of 87 on July 13, 2018, in Hillsborough, North Carolina, with family by her side.
Shirley spent most of her life in Memphis, Tennessee, where she and her husband, William “Bud” Malone, raised their family of four. Shirley worked for Kimberly-Clark, while taking care of her children, from where she later retired. Shirley spent the last few years of her life with family in Hillsborough, NC.
Shirley enjoyed spending time with friends and family, whether it was fishing, playing board games or just sitting and visiting. She also enjoyed the time she spent making porcelain dolls and crocheting. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, William Malone; her daughter, Pam Teague (Malone); her grandson, Chris Malone, and her great-grandson, Michael Van Gorp.
Shirley is survived by her brother, Frank Gibson; her three sons, Howard, David and Roy Lee; and her four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Memphis Funeral Home. Located at 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Memorial services will begin at 2 P.M.
