Shirley McCullough Piner

STEM- Mrs. Shirley McCullough Piner, 69, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

Mrs. Piner was born on July 27, 1951 to George and Betty McCullough in Spartanburg, SC. She has lived in North Carolina for over 50 years and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Shirley loved going for walks, flowers and plants, and going antique shopping. She will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother.

Mrs. Piner was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beth Forsythe; and nephew, David Huff. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Edward Piner, Jr.; daughter, Andrea Dawn Poss; brother, Bobby McCullough; sisters, Jane Terrell, Gayle House, and Marie Huff; and grandchildren, Kennedy and Hadleigh Poss.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Bible Baptist Church. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service from1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church.  Officiating will be Reverend Greg Allison and Reverend Jimmy Hall. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
