Sophia Lynn “Fia” Whaley

ROUGEMONT Miss Sophia Lynn Whaley, 4, of Rougemont, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017.Sophia was born in Chapel Hill on December 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Randy Dunn and maternal great-grandmother, Betty Dunn and uncle, Tommy Whaley.She is survived by her parents, Brandon and Michelle Whaley; her brother, Cole Whaley; maternal grandmother, Sherry Dunn; paternal grandparents, Mike and Kim Whaley and Jack and Carolyn McLamb; Uncle Chris Dunn and wife, Jenelle and his daughter, Taylor; Aunt Shirley Dowell and her sons, Chadd and Jeffrey and wife, Jenny; Uncle Brent Sumner and his son Michael; Uncles and Aunts, Donnie and Irene McLamb and his son, Nicholas, Thomas McLamb and Missy Smith and his children Gabe and Grace McLamb, David McLamb and wife, Lisa and his children, Johnathan McLamb, Adam McLamb, Joshua McLamb and J.T. Borkhuis, Wendy Howerton and her son, Grayson; Great-Aunts and Uncles, Joe and Cyndy Sands, Joe and Cheryl Whaley and children, Erin and Matthew, Bobby and Loretta Whaley and children, Wayne and Kelly, Betty Whaley daughter, Kathie Wiley and many cousins.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Nicholas McLamb will officiate. Burial will be in the Aiken-Blalock Cemetery in Rougemont.
