Stanley Hobbs, Sr.

WILLIAMSBORO- Mr. Stanley Eugene Hobbs, Sr, 69, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021.

Mr. Hobbs was born on June 2, 1951 to Roy and Estelle Hobbs in Durham, NC. He worked at Research Triangle International at RTP. He loved to go camping, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed watching round track and NASCAR races. Stanley loved spending time with his family and his beloved pets, Maggie May and Bo. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Mr. Hobbs was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Estelle Hobbs; brother, Colon Edward Hobbs and Fredrick Hobbs; sister, Linda Jacobs; and grandchild, Shiloh.

Mr. Hobbs is survived by his wife, Deborah Fuller Hobbs; step-son, Everette Fuller, Jr.; daughter, Tammy Carnell (MaryAnn); brother, Donnie Hobbs; grandchildren, Dustin Carnell, Ashley Carnell, Bryson Carnell, Kendell Wilson (Dusty), Brock Fuller, Tanner Carnell (Haley), and Conner Cannon; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Trinity, Kaylin, Isabella, Callie, Darren, Chloe, Zoiey, and Carter.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Officiating will be Reverend Fred Hobbs.
