Stanley Tilley

CREEDMOOR- Mr. Stanley Edward Tilley, 53, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at his home surrounded by family and close friends. Mr. Tilley was born in Durham, NC on June 30, 1966, the son of Donald Tilley and Donna Coltrane. He worked for PSNC Energy for 26 years. Mr. Tilley was a proud father that had a love for watching his children grow and supporting them in all their dreams. He especially enjoyed watching them on a ball field. They are what he felt, his greatest accomplishments. His family was everything to him. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, many types of motorsports, a good fire barrel and great times with great friends. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Mr. Tilley is preceded in death by his step-father, Lt. Col. Wesley Coltrane, USA, Ret. Mr. Tilley is survived by his wife of 32 years, Dawn Tilley; son, Amos Tilley (Jenna); daughter, Savannah “Skeet” Williams (Michael); granddaughter, Emma “little bit” Williams; sisters, Wendy Stocking (Greg), Paula Floyd (Frank) and step-mother Sharon Tilley. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
