Susan Joy Doran

DURHAM Mrs. Susan Joy Doran, 63 of 217 Stoney Drive, died on Friday, September 2, 2011.Mrs. Doran was a native of Livingston, NJ, the daughter of the late Mason Lewis and Winifred Iris Powell. She had lived in Durham for the past 10 years and was employed with Triangle Urology as a RN. She loved her family and her profession. She had a great sense of humor and always made her friends and family laugh. She was preceded in death by a son, James M. Doran and a sister, Sally Jane Powell.She is survived by her sons, Drew Doran and wife, Kate of Metamora, IL and Steven Doran of Durham; one daughter, Jill Doran of Durham; one brother, Lawrence Powell and wife, Patricia of Fairfield, NJ and one grandchild, James R. Doran.A memorial service will be held at a later date.
