Susan Joyce “Susie” Watson

DURHAM Ms. Susan Joyce “Susie” Watson, 64, of Durham, died on Monday, October 5, 2015.
Ms. Watson was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Linwood “Blue” Watson and Betsy Griffin Watson. She retired from the Durham County Juvenile Court Services as an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Roberson Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Christy Franklin and husband, Mark of Roxboro and Kim Solomon and husband, Donald of Timberlake; two brothers, Doug Watson and wife, Cynthia of Timberlake and Joe Watson and wife, Sherri of Durham; four grandchildren, Lauren Johnson (Michael), Tyler Rigsbee, Marina Buchanan (Chris) and Allie Solomon; great-granddaughter, Abby Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Roberson Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Jack O’Neal will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
