Terry Lee Ashby, Sr.

RALEIGH- Mr. Terry Lee Ashby, 64, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Rex Hospital.

Mr. Ashby was born on October 9, 1956 in Lancaster, PA. Terry proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed playing golf, sports (in particular Baseball), enjoyed watching professional sporting events on T.V. and in person, The Smokey Mountain’s, Virginia Beach, and driving the back roads of Lancaster County. His pride and joy were his children and grandchildren, and spending time with them was his favorite. Terry will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Ashby was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and James Clawges.

Mr. Ashby is survived by his spouse, Carol Treichler; sons, Terry Lee Ashby, Jr. (Shenandoah) and Michael Ashby (Christine); his brother, Patrick Clawges of York, PA; sisters, Robin Rineer (Donny) of New Providence, PA, and Gail Troupe (Kerry) of Harrisburg, PA; grandchildren, Mathew Hafner, Sara Ashby, and Jared Moon; and his life long Best Friend, Scott Yoder of Lancaster, PA.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel.
