Theresa Lassiter Wilder

DURHAM- Mrs. Theresa Marie Lassiter Wilder, 64, passed away on March 22, 2021.

Mrs. Wilder was born on April 14, 1956 to the late James “Bird” and Ethel Lassiter in Durham, NC. She worked at University Ford in the Collision Center as an Administrative Assistant. Theresa enjoyed gardening, dancing, and music. She loved to go to Atlantic and Carolina beach or Lake Gaston, and go fishing or boating. She also enjoyed going camping in her RV. Theresa was an avid Carolina Fan and loved going to NASCAR races. Theresa enjoyed get togethers with her friends for games or just to spend time together. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Wilder was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Lassiter, and sister, Barbara Hackney.

Mrs. Wilder is survived by her husband, Timothy Wilder; daughter, Stephanie Umstead (Eric Martin); brothers, Billy, Tony, and Jerry Lassiter (Theresa); sister, Dianna Utley; and granddaughter, Kaylee Umstead.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 to 12:30 p.m.
