Thomas Clifton, Jr.

DURHAM- Thomas “Tommy” Grant Clifton, Jr., 59, of Durham died on Saturday, December 1, 2012. He was the son of the late Thomas Grant Clifton, Sr. and Margaret Thomas Clifton. He was in the U.S. Army and National Guard. He was an electrician for UNC Hospital where he retired. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Clifton.He is survived by his daughter, Beverly Clifton of Durham; one brother, Mike Clifton and Patsy of Rougemont, one sister Linda Koontz and companion Steve Smith of Smithfield; one grandson Jacob Broyal. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Hopson Family Cemetery on Broach Rd. Rev. Hugh O’Shields will officiate. Family will be assisted by Hudson Funeral Home.
