Timothy Steven Ellis, Jr.

WILMINGTON Mr. Timothy Steven Ellis, Jr., 35, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016. He was a former resident of Durham. Timothy attended New Horizons Baptist Church in Oxford, NC. He loved reading, writing, computers and he wrote music. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, CP and Mary Elizabeth Ellis; maternal grandmother, Shirley Lancaster Morgan of Durham, aunt, Judy Morgan Plummer of Charlotte, as well as his beloved dog Glitter.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley M. Peele and husband Bruce of Wilmington; father, Tim Ellis and wife Cindi of Timberlake; sister, Stephanie Faye Ellis and fiancé Timothy Day of Durham; step-sister, Lauren Long Key of Creedmoor; step-brother, Michael Brandon Long of Creedmoor; aunts, Vickie Lewis of Durham, Marie Fulcher of Durham and Phyllis Ellis of Durham; uncles, Kenny Ellis, Larry Ellis, Dee Fulcher, Jerry Morgan, Mike Morgan, Rodney Lewis, Charles Plummer and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Willis Herman will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Bubba Ellis, Kenny Ellis, Jr., Kevin Lewis, Mark Lewis, Tim Ellis, Sr. and Brandon Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Peele and Tim Day.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home, other times at his sister, Stephanie Ellis, 515 Stonelick Dr., Durham.
