DURHAM Mr. Tommy Wayne Holder, 65, of Durham, died on Thursday, November 2, 2017.Mr. Holder was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Andrew Jacob Holder and Bertha Crabtree Holder. He retired after 28 years from Walker Auto Parts. Family and work were his two loves in life. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Daniel Holder and wife, Judy.He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Vickie Oakley Holder; son, Chris Holder and wife, Ashley of Durham; daughter, Julie Ann Stone and husband, Tony of Creedmoor; grandchildren, Kendall Lee Stone, Taylor Lynn Stone, Mckenzie Mae Holder and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Charles Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Donnie Moore, Todd McDowell, Wade Brown, Ray Hayes, Cary Ray, Donovan House, Tony Stone and Thomas Fowler.The family will receive friends on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
