Verline Norris Rambeaut

CREEDMOOR- Verline Norris Rambeaut, 84, of Creedmoor passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016. She was a native of Durham for forty years before moving to Creedmoor. Verline was the daughter of the late Herman Whitman Sr. and Leola Norris. She worked for Wrights Machinery on the assembly line. She was of the Baptist Faith. Verline was preceded in death by her husband Elvis Gordon Rambeaut; son, Jerry Ray Rambeaut and brother, Herman Whitman, Jr.
She is survived by sons, Glenn Rambeaut (Sandra) of Creedmoor; Jay Rambeaut (Lisa) of Creedmoor; daughters, Darlene Wall (Buster) of Durham; and Elizabeth Glasscock of Creedmoor; sisters, Edna Stephenson of Durham; and Diane Whitman of Roxboro; Nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandkids.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Reverend Tim Wheeler will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Jay Rambeaut, Josh Wall, H.A. Wall, C.J. Lane, Craig Rambeaut, and Eric Watkins.
