Vestor (Homer) Parrish

Granville County- Mr. Vester “Homer” Parrish, 74, of Wake Forest formerly of Henderson died on Sunday, December 30, 2012. He was the son of the late Herman Hilton Parrish and Lucy Gupton Parrish. He served in the U.S. Army and National Guards. He retired from Bishop Paint & Wallpaper as a painter. He was of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Riley Parrish, two sons Wayne and Glenn Riley, one daughter, Sheryl Riley, one brother, Robert “Tony” Parrish.He is survived by his daughter Diane Riley Black (Donald), brother, Jackie Parrish, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Rev. Terry Howard and Rev. David Edwards will officiate.
