(Popovich) Popert 60, Angier, NC formerly of Gallitzin died January 5, 2017 in Durham, NC Born June 2, 1956 in Altoona the daughter of the late Francis and Genevieve (Kroskey) Popovich. Preceded in death by an infant daughter Wendy and brothers Michael and Francis Jr. Survived by her husband Gerald whom she married May 28, 1987 and sisters Jeanne (Alan) Walls – Fairfax, VA, Elaine Wasserman – Chantilly, VA and sister-in-law, Nancy Popovich – Altoona and several nieces and nephews. A 1974 graduate of Penn Cambria High School, Cresson. Longtime employee of North Coast Builders Exchange, Santa Rosa, CA and had her own stained glass business. Family and friends will be received from 8:30 am until time of Funeral Service at 10 am Friday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, the Rev. Albert Ledoux officiating.
