Wanda Faye Oakley

DURHAM Miss Wanda Faye Oakley, 65, of Durham, died on Tuesday, June 30, 2015.

Wanda was born in Durham to the late Joseph Napoleon Oakley and Doris Gray Oakley. She was a CPA with the Department of Health and Human Services.  She graduated from UNC and was an avid Tarheel fan.

She is survived by her caretakers, Steven and Christina Smith of Durham.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Johnny Hewett will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Duke Cancer Institute Office of Development, 710 W.
