Wayne Richard Harrigan, Sr.

APEX Mr.Wayne R. Harrigan, Sr., 86, of Apex, N.C., died on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.

Mr. Harrigan was born in Easton, Pa., the son of the late Dennis and Gladys M. Hoffman Harrigan. He retired from the U. S. Air Force as a Master Sgt. after 24 years. He served in the Vietnam and Korea Wars. He was Commander of the VFW Post #3433 in Ladson, S.C., member of the Scottish Rite, Shriner, Mason and a life member of the DAV. He was preceded in death by two wives, Cathleen C. Harrigan and Marjorie “Jean” Lathop; son, Wayne R. Harrigan, Jr.

He is survived by his daughter, Patti Ehrhardt; son, Guy Harrigan and wife, Susette Mclendon; step-daughter, Jamie Wilbaum and husband, Terry; brother, Fred Harrigan and wife, Pauline; daughter-in-law, Patricia Harrigan; grandchildren, Guy, Jr., Logan, Patrick, Shawn and Shannon.

Graveside services with military rites will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC.
