Wayne Thomas Inman

STEM Mr. Wayne Thomas Inman, 66 of Stem, died on Thursday, August 25, 2016.
Mr. Inman was born in Haywood County, NC, the son of the late Samuel Inman and Molita Hampton Inman. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and the Vietnam War, where he earned a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and the Red Warriors. He formerly owned and operated Inman Refrigeration. He loved fresh water and saltwater fishing and enjoyed going to the mountains. Wayne could fix anything and would help anyone in need. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving family and many friends. He was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Willard Inman, Marcel Inman and Ned Inman; sisters, Gilma and Wilma Inman and Thomasine.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marie Inman; sons, Jesse Inman and wife, Cynthia and Daniel Inman; brother, Fred Inman; sisters, JoAnne Freeman and Kee Settle; grandson, Thomas Wayne Inman.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Johnny Hewett will officiate. Online condolences may be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
