Wendy Barnes Pritchett

HILLSBOROUGH- Mrs. Wendy Barnes Pritchett, 57, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019.
Mrs. Pritchett was born May 1, 1962 in Durham County, NC to Lexie and Frances Barnes. Wendy loved her family and had a big heart. She would do anything for anyone and was always there for people in need. The beach was her happy place and she liked to sit outside while drinking a soda. Wendy’s bubbly personality and kindness will always be remembered. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Mrs. Pritchett is preceded in death by her father, Lexie “Buck” Barnes, and her loving dog Izzy. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Garry Pritchett; her mother, Frances Freeman Barnes; daughter, Megan Landre (Jason); son, Matthew Pritchett (Brittany); sister, Connie Morris (Richard); granddaughter, Raelynn Landre; niece, Anna Buchanan (Andrew); and nephew, Daniel Morris.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Kong Namkung. Pallbearers will be Daniel Morris, Richard Morris, Joshua Walker, Kyle Walker, David Ross, and Lewis Pritchett. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
