Wesley Allen Weeks

DURHAM Mr. Wesley Allen Weeks, Sr., 81, a former resident of Durham, died on Saturday, October 27, 2012.Mr. Weeks was born in Sampson County to the late Robert Wesley Weeks and Lula Estelle Ammons Weeks. Prior to retiring from J & H Glass Company, he ran dairy routes for Long Meadow and Pine State Dairies. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia James Weeks and a sister, Gail Jones.He is survived by one son, Wesley “Allen” Weeks, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Cedar Grove; one daughter, Gladys Wheeler and husband, John of Fuquay Varina; one brother, Tom Weeks of Havelock; three sisters, Jean Fettig of Hillsborough, Ann Weeks of Alabama and Fran Salter of High Point; four grandchildren, Richie Hogan, Jenny Hogan, Jesse Weeks and Travis Weeks; two great-grandchildren, Jenna and Peyton Hogan.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. C. Paul Jones. Interment will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
