William Arthur “Billy” Evans

DURHAM- Mr. William “Billy” Arthur Evans, 70, of 1011 Camden Ave. Apt. 3-A, Durham  went to meet the Lord on Friday, February 21, 2014. He was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Vernon Arthur Evans and Bertha Carroll Evans. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by Delilah Evans and children, Melissa Page, Francis Page and Lori Roberts, one brother, Benny Evans and wife Brenda of Durham; one sister, Anne Boone and husband Ronnie of Knotts Island, NC; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tim McCright will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Benny Evans, Tommy Flynn, Nat Runion, Wesley Evans, Ronnie Boone and Roger Evans.
