William Edward Ennis Jr.

ENNISDURHAM Mr. William Edward “Ed” Ennis Jr.,58, of 1008 Wrenn Road, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2011, after a brief illness. Ed served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Duke University Medical Center in the Maintenance Department. He was very active with the Bethesda Athletic Association.He is survived by his wife, Robin Ennis; his parents, William and Elsie Ennis of Durham; one son, Eddie Ennis of Durham; one daughter, Alicia Russell of Durham; four sisters, Tena Clark and husband, Ray of Burlington, Frances Watson and husband, Brooks of Durham, Sue Wadford of Durham and Jane Utley and husband, Lou of Durham; two grandchildren, Kylie and Kacie Russell.Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Phil Wiggins. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Robin Ennis, 1008 Wrenn Road and also at the home of his parents, William and Elsie Ennis, 827 Glenco Road.
